HSC 490 Internship in Public Health

This course provides students with an opportunity to integrate, synthesize, and apply public health knowledge in an experiential setting. Designed to support mastery of public health program competencies, the internship enables students to apply concepts from core and concentration courses, complete practice-based projects, and engage with a variety of health professionals. Students receive structured oversight from both a faculty instructor and a professionally qualified preceptor to support their academic and professional development. This course may be repeated for credit for a maximum of 12 credit hours.
