Sanctions by the Academic Integrity Hearing Committee
The Academic Integrity Committee can reaffirm the sanctions imposed by the faculty member and/or the Office of the Associate Provost. Additionally, the Academic Integrity Hearing Committee can reduce, modify or increase the severity of sanctions imposed at previous levels. For example, the Office of the Associate Provost may have imposed a sanction to suspend the student, and the Academic Integrity Hearing Committee can decide instead to expel the student.
