April 3-Aug. 22 Fall registration.
Aug. 19, Tuesday International students arrive.
Aug. 20, Wednesday Residence hall check-in for new students.
Aug. 21-22, Thursday-Friday Final registration and payment.
Aug. 22, Friday Residence halls open for continuing students, 9 a.m.
Aug. 25, Monday Classes begin.
Aug. 27, Wednesday Last day to drop/add first 7-week classes with 100% tuition credit; last day to declare pass/fail or audit for first 7-week classes.
Aug. 28, Thursday Schedule change fee ($25) instituted for withdrawing from first 7-week classes; withdrawals (“W”) appear on transcripts.
Aug. 29, Friday Drop/add for 14-week classes with 100% tuition credit ends at 3 p.m. Last day to declare pass/fail or audit for 14-week classes.
Sept. 1, Monday No classes, Labor Day.
Sept. 2, Tuesday Schedule change fee ($25) instituted for withdrawing from 14-week classes; withdrawals (“W”) appear on transcript.
Sept. 12, Friday Last day to withdraw from 7- and 14-week classes with 50% tuition credit (fees non-refundable).
Sept. 23, Tuesday Last day to withdraw from first 7-week classes.
Oct. 10, Friday Family Weekend begins.
Oct. 13, Monday First 7-week classes end.
Oct. 15, Wednesday Second 7-week classes begin.
Oct. 17, Friday Spring and summer incomplete (“I”) grades not resolved become “F”s.

Last day to add and drop second 7-week classes with 100% tuition and fee credit.

Oct. 27, Monday Last day for federal financial aid return of funds.
Oct. 28, Tuesday Last day to withdraw from second 7-week classes with 50% tuition and fee credit (fees non-refundable).
Oct. 30, Thursday Registration for spring begins for continuing students.
Nov. 3, Monday Last day to withdraw from 14-week classes.
Nov. 11, Tuesday Last day to withdraw from second 7-week classes.
Nov. 26-Nov. 30, Wednesday-Sunday Thanksgiving vacation (begins after last evening class on Tuesday, Nov. 25).
Dec. 1, Monday Classes resume.
Dec. 6, Saturday Last day of classes.
Dec. 8-11, Monday-Thursday Final exams.
Dec. 11, Thursday Semester ends.
Dec. 12, Friday Residence halls close for all students except graduating seniors, 11 a.m.
Dec. 13, Saturday Commencement.
Dec. 14, Sunday Residence halls close for graduating seniors, 11 a.m.
Dec. 15, Monday Fall semester final grades are due from faculty before midnight.

Winter Intersession 2015

Jan. 5, Monday Classes begin.
Jan. 6, Tuesday Last day to drop classes with 100% tuition credit.
Jan. 7, Wednesday Schedule change fee ($25) instituted; “W” on transcript.
Jan. 16, Friday Classes end.

Spring 2015 Semester

Jan. 14, Wednesday New international students arrive.
Jan. 15, Thursday Residence halls open for new students.
  Final registration and payment.

Jan. 19, Monday No classes, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Jan. 20, Tuesday Classes begin.

Summer Graduate Education Term 2015

June 22, Monday Classes begin.
June 24, Wednesday Last day to drop summer graduate education courses with 100% tuition credit for courses meeting week one. Subsequent weeks will have the option to drop with 100% tuition credit on the deadline of the Tuesday of the week the course is meeting.
June 25, Thursday Schedule change fee ($25) instituted for withdrawing; withdrawals (“W”) appear on transcript.
July 13, Monday Last day to withdraw from classes.
July 31, Friday Last day of term.
August 3, Monday Final grades are due from faculty before midnight.
