AWR 100 Introduction to Academic Writing

An intensive review of writing strategies and English usage offered as preparation for AWR 101. The course emphasizes clarity, organization and purpose in the writing process. AWR 100 does not fulfill general distribution requirements, nor does it replace AWR 101 or 201. Students who have earned credit for AWR 101 or 201 may take this course only by written permission of the department chair.
