FIN 255 Principles of Real Estate

We cover the laws and contracts governing real-estate lending, residential mortgage types, and borrower decision-making, then analyze how time and risk affect property value in both residential and commercial contexts. The course examines sources of commercial debt and equity capital and concludes with investment analysis using financial ratios, net present value (NPV), and internal rate of return (IRR).
