THR 400 Internship in Theatre
This course is offered as an experiential-learning opportunity for students and is intended to provide pre-professional training, and hands-on experience in the performing arts, by means of involvement with a theatre company or performing arts organization. Dependent upon the duties and responsibilities required of the internship experience (Either administrative, performance-focused, or a combination of both), it is expected that students will complete a minimum of 40 hours of work per academic credit hour of enrollment in this course. Students must contact the Department of Theatre and Dance Internship Coordinator to receive authorization for enrollment in the course.
For juniors and seniors only. The course may be repeated for academic credit if the content/experience differs from previous internship course work.

Prerequisite
For junior and senior students or by permission of the Department Chair. This course requires approval of the Department's Internship Coordinator before enrollment, and students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 in all completed theatre coursework.
