Aug. 26, Wednesday International students arrive.
Aug. 27, Thursday Residence hall check-in for new students.
Aug. 27-28, Thursday-Friday Final registration and payment.
Aug. 28, Friday Residence halls open for continuing students, 9 a.m.
Aug. 31, Monday Classes begin.
Sept. 2, Wednesday Last day to drop/add first 7-week classes with 100% tuition credit. Last day to declare pass/fail or audit for first 7-week classes.
Sept. 3, Thursday Schedule change fee ($25) instituted for withdrawing from first 7-week classes; withdrawals (“W”) appear on transcripts.
Sept. 4, Friday Drop/add for 14-week classes with 100% tuition credit ends at 3 p.m. Last day to declare pass/fail or audit for 14-week classes.
Sept. 7, Monday No classes, Labor Day.
Sept. 8, Tuesday Schedule change fee ($25) instituted for withdrawing from 14-week classes; withdrawals (“W”) appear on transcript.
Sept. 18, Friday Last day to withdraw from 7- and 14-week classes with 50% tuition credit (fees non-refundable).
Sept. 29, Tuesday Last day to withdraw from first 7-week classes.
Oct. 2-3, Friday-Saturday Family Weekend.
Oct. 19, Monday First 7-week classes end.

Oct. 23, Friday Spring and summer incomplete (“I”) grades not resolved become “F”s.

Nov. 2, Monday Last day for federal financial aid return of funds.

Nov. 9, Monday Last day to withdraw from 14-week classes.

Dec. 14-17, Monday-Thursday Final exams.
Dec. 17, Thursday Semester ends.
Dec. 18, Friday Residence halls close for all students except graduating seniors, 11 a.m.

Dec. 20, Sunday Residence halls close for graduating seniors, 11 a.m.

Winter Intersession 2016

Jan. 15, Friday Classes end.
Jan. 18, Monday Winter final grades are due from faculty before midnight.

Spring Semester 2016

Jan. 13, Wednesday New international students arrive.
Jan. 14, Thursday Residence halls open for new students.

Summer Graduate Education Term 2016

June 20, Monday Classes begin.
June 22, Wednesday Last day to drop summer graduate education courses with 100% tuition credit for courses meeting week one. Subsequent weeks will have the option to drop with 100% tuition credit on the deadline of the Tuesday of the week the course is meeting.
June 23, Thursday Schedule change fee ($25) instituted for withdrawing; withdrawals (“W”) appear on transcript.
July 11, Monday Last day to withdraw from classes.
July 29, Friday Last day of term.
Aug. 1, Monday Final grades are due from faculty before midnight.
