MAT 315 Actuarial Mathematics P
Actuarial Mathematics P is intended, but not limited to actuarial science majors. The course covers the basic principles of insurance and risk management and introduces students to the actuarial profession. The course has a problem-solving approach, where probability theory is applied to solve problems related to quantitative assessment of risk.
MAT 315 is designed to provide preparation for the Society of Actuaries (SOA) "Exam P".
