MGT 415 Principles of Project Management
This course introduces the principles and practices of modern project management. Students will learn how to plan, execute, and close projects effectively using traditional, agile, and hybrid approaches. Emphasis is placed on building project plans, managing budgets and schedules, controlling risks and changes, and leading diverse and cross-functional teams. The course also explores emerging trends, such as AI, DevOps, and cloud technologies, and prepares students for professional certifications, including the PMP. Through case studies and practical exercises, students will gain the essential tools and confidence to manage real-world projects from start to finish.
