PSY 300 Psychology of Prosocial Development and Delinquency
This course focuses on the biological, cognitive, cultural, environmental, and social factors that influence prosocial and antisocial development from infancy through adolescence. Topics include the biological underpinnings of prosocial and antisocial behavior, the development of moral reasoning, moral emotions, and moral identity; socialization by parents, teachers, and peers; aggression and delinquent behavior; school-based intervention programs; and the role of society and culture in moral development.
