PSY 321 Development: What is Changing?
Developmental psychology is, at its heart, all about the changes we observe across the lifespan in areas such as physical changes, cognitive changes, and social changes. Thus the great challenge to developmental psychologists is multi-level considerations about change: Can we demonstrate, measure, and document how and when changes are occurring? The central goal of this course is to examine the tasks and the theories core to developmental psychology and explore how change is represented. We will examine methodologies specific to the study of development and look at a variety of tasks and types of changes that occur across the lifespan.
