SOC 320 Gendered Lives
This course examines how society shapes our understanding and experience of gender, going beyond biological sex to explore gender as a social construct. It analyzes how gender influences social structures, interactions, and power dynamics, including how gender intersects with other aspects of identity like race and class. Students will delve into sociological theories, research, and real-world examples to understand gender inequality and its impact on individuals and society.
