WRI 499 Writing Thesis
In this Culminating Experience course for Writing majors, students will engage in interdisciplinary research in the humanities and either social or natural sciences as a mechanism for the development of a significant writing project, in a genre of their choosing, by applying the knowledge and skills they’ve learned throughout their coursework across a range of disciplines at the University of Tampa. Situating their projects within their interdisciplinary research, students will also produce a remediated version for a broader public audience. Ultimately, students will learn effective strategies for completing their projects, which will prepare them for their careers as writing professionals.
