NUR 201 Foundations of Nursing Practice
In this course, nursing students will be introduced to the scope and standards of professional nursing practice. Theoretical, philosophical, and historical perspectives are utilized to emphasize the delivery of nursing care as both an art and a science. Emphasis is placed on the development of clinical judgment through utilization of the nursing process. Additional topics include developing cultural competence and delivering safe and competent care.
