B.A. in Environmental Studies
The Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies provides students with a more liberal (less prescribed) educational pathway in their study of the environment. It is most appropriate for students with broad interests about the environment, and the reduced credit requirements compared to the B.S. in Environmental Studies make it ideal for double-majoring or minoring in related fields. This major meets the requirements of a variety of career paths and graduate studies related to the relationships between environmental, social, and economic issues and policies. Students must complete courses from a series of categories (Arts and Humanities, Business, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, and Statistics) as well as upper-level electives to be determined in consultation with advisors.
