PAM 630 Clinical Medicine I

Clinical Medicine I develops problem-solving skills for medical decision-making using a body system approach. Content includes epidemiology, etiology, pathophysiology, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, management, and patient education for common primary care conditions across the lifespan and care settings. Instruction includes lecture, case-based learning, and small group activities. Systems include Infectious Diseases-->Dermatology-->HEENT-->Rheumatology-->Orthopedics,-->Hematology/Oncology-->Pulmonology. This course serves as the anchor for concurrent PAM didactic instruction, aligning system content across courses within the term.
