PAM 662 Public Health: Community and Preventive Medicine
Public Health: Community and Preventive Medicine prepares students to apply public health and preventive medicine concepts to clinical practice and community settings. Topics include epidemiology, surveillance and reporting, prevention and screening, outbreak response and infection control, disaster preparedness, occupational and environmental health, travel health, vulnerable populations and health disparities, and patient safety and quality improvement principles. Instruction includes lecture, case-based learning, and small group activities.
