PAM 657 Clinical-Based Skills and Procedures II

Clinical-Based Skills and Procedures II continues development and assessment of core clinical skills and procedures through skills lab, structured simulation, and occasional demonstrations. The course emphasizes safe performance, patient-centered communication, teamwork, and accurate documentation while aligning weekly skills instruction with the concurrent Clinical Medicine II system block (Cardiovascular, Genitourinary, Nephrology, Men’s Health, Endocrinology, Gastrointestinal Medicine, and Neurology). Assessment includes written knowledge checks and performance-based evaluations using OSCE and OSATS-style checkoffs to verify competence in program-defined core skills. Enrollment restricted to UTampa PAM students.
