PAM 658 Clinical-Based Skills and Procedures III
Clinical-Based Skills and Procedures III completes the didactic skills series through advanced practice and assessment of clinical skills and procedures aligned to the concurrent Clinical Medicine III system block (Obstetrics/Gynecology and Psychiatry/Behavioral Medicine). Students develop competence in patient-centered communication, sensitive history taking, counseling, documentation, and safe skills performance through skills lab, structured simulation, and occasional demonstrations. Assessment includes written knowledge checks and performance-based evaluations using OSCE and OSATS-style checkoffs to verify competence in program-defined core skills. Enrollment restricted to UTampa PAM students.
