PAM 654 Problem-Based Learning II

Problem-Based Learning II continues the facilitated, small-group, case-based sequence to strengthen clinical reasoning and application of didactic content. Students apply concurrent learning from the Clinical Medicine anchor course and mapped courses by working through progressive patient cases, developing and prioritizing differential diagnoses, selecting focused evaluation strategies, proposing initial management plans, and producing concise clinical documentation. The course emphasizes teamwork, professional communication, preparation, and reflective practice. Case content aligns with the concurrent Clinical Medicine II system block (Cardiovascular, Genitourinary, Nephrology, Men’s Health, Endocrinology, Gastrointestinal Medicine, and Neurology). Graded Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory. Enrollment restricted to UTampa PAM students.
