PAM 674 Specialty Medicine I

A course designed to guide students in obtaining medical knowledge and developing problem solving skills to apply in the medical decision-making process and patient care as it applies to military/disaster medicine, telemedicine, pediatric medicine, parenting, geriatric medicine, and occupational/environmental medicine. The course also provides instruction on the application of appropriate history and physical examination techniques for infant, child, adolescent, adult, and elderly populations across annual well exams and focused emergent, acute, and chronic visit types. Instruction includes lecture, problem/case based learning and/or small group work.
